Art Beck made Columbus his home 47 years ago and has been serving the people of Columbus ever since, focusing on corporate, real estate, estate planning and probate. Art considers himself to be a problem solver. His goal is to make life simple and understandable for his clients. He enjoys picking up his seven grandchildren every day from school. It’s scary to him, but he’s finding that he’s starting to like their music.

Jeff concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate law and advising businesses on everything from start-up to sale and all matters in between, including employment law. He is regularly called on to answer the question, “Can I fire this jerk employee of mine?” to which he normally responds, “Heck yeah!” He is a veteran of many epic small claims battles such as the case of the Stud Poodle. In that case, Mr. Beck skillfully recovered $400 (plus court costs!) for the Plaintiff who had paid Defendant $400 for Defendant’s poodle to impregnate Plaintiff’s very attractive blonde poodle. Unfortunately, Stud Poodle was not up the challenge.
Mr. Beck is a Member in Good Standing at Sam’s Club and has been pre-approved for dizzying array of credit cards. He is also regularly sought out via email for assistance in depositing large sums of money from African countries.

Jeff puts his clients at ease and brings comfort in trying times.
The pioneer of casual Mondays (Tuesdays, Wednesdays….), he generally won’t wear a suit, unless a judge makes him. Jeff is a one man repository of legal advice, 1980’s film quotes and song lyrics. He rarely takes himself seriously and has found that to be disarming in both business dealings and litigation. When necessary, he is more than capable of making really mean faces – a skill not lost on his kids.
At a full six feet tall, Jeff towers over his partners, and can put that physical presence to good use – at times carrying more than one bank box of files. Jeff is loud, he gets it. It’s probably a Michigan thing.
What you can be sure of is that Jeff routinely guides clients through the complexities of business law, real estate, estate planning and probate with skill and common sense. He has built his practice on relationships and by caring about his clients more than his wardrobe or the view from his office window.

Tara is an Associate licensed in Indiana, California, and Hawaii with over fifteen years of legal experience. As a former Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the City and County of Honolulu, she successfully secured guilty verdicts involving a wide range of criminal offenses.
